Lundi 02.04, day 15 of Summer, day 195 of the year 549
Yesterday's Full Moon Orga Camp Raid was not as successful as last Zodiac's. The first raid yesterday failed. When that group was rescued, the remaining group decided to try again. Time was very sparse, with under four hours until midnight. We were also quite aware of the fact that the Orga's defences only gets stronger all day on Full Moon Day. But, we gave it a fair try.

Fallen, sad, and lonely in Orga Camp 2

Merdi, day 80 of Spring, day 170 of the year 549
After several unsuccessful Full Moon Orga Camp Raids, a small group was finally able to retrieve a Stone, four days ago. The group, consisting of six healers (myself, Tharloch, Webow, Tater, Haenk, and Wrapper), five fighters (Jo Ma'ril, Yor, Frozen Shade'shin, Drue'Dreemi'sar, and Silky), and two mystics (Hepta and Groan), swiftly overtook the Orga Camps, one after another. This sketch is from right before entering the final Camp.

This is a sketch of the Intrepid Team

Instead of clearing all the Camp's pits of orgas, as is the usual tactic, we went almost straight for the Magician! This was maybe one of the most memorable and intense Hunting moments for me. Frozen Shade ran up to the magician, trying to kill him off quickly. Thusly sacrificing herself to let Silky come in and slaying the nasty orga leader. Many were fallen, all badly injured, but with the usual levelheadedness of this group, we were quickly on our feet again, and Hepta could retrieve the Stone from the Power Room. Sweet success, indeed!!!

Success! We were very proud at this moment!

549 Spring 56
As you all know, we had a grand invasion a couple of Zodiacs ago. The commander of the forces, Kiril Drakesblood, at one point wanted a "truce". My gods! she was scared, the poor woman (possibly just a lowly mercenary, hired by the Dar'shak). At this point a few of us defending and re-taking the North Gate and Town threw some juicy pies at her. The effect was quite magnificent! She tried to look untroubled, and just licked some of the pie off her face. But, she felt defeat was near and we succeded in our humiliation of her. This sketch shows my pie right before impact. She was half-blinded by some hard crust on this one, I might add.

Throwing that juicy pie was very very satisfactory!

Clan Hunter has received a new member: Nair al Saif. It was a very happy occasion, and I pray that Orion will lead more able female and male Exiles to our fine clan.

548 Autumn 72
The last Zodiac has been tremendously fun! I've been hunting all over the Lok'Grotons, seen places I never saw before, met good Exiles I never hunted with before, and rushed into more or less impossible challenges. A good Zodiac indeed!
I ended up, quite impromptu, with this group of dedicated gentlefen. Almost by the Northern KI snell, we experienced fierce opposition, but the fighters did very well getting the group off the island. Flower lyfes, thunder lyfes... the three brave fighters took them on one by one, and we could safely leave the island by boat. Also, thank you Jade'shin's group (including my clan brother Fist of Fluff) for picking me up so I could rejoin my group.

Hunting KI with fen
|
On another hunt on KI, we saw this. The wolf seems more interested in eating us, than the nasty-looking sheep, though.

Sheep in wolf's clothes?

A small band of fearless explorers delved into the mysteries of Dal'Noth. We explored much of the island, and also a rarely visited grotto on the West side of the Island. After some tough fighting we left the island, or rather, tried. We were severely ambushed, though, and had to wait for a heroic rescue.

Hunting the Noth
|
It was several Zodiacs since I hunted in the Orga Outback. But, on the 64th, it was time again for an expedition. Unfortunately I fell at the end of the hunt, and was taken home by chain. One of the orgas in the Outback carried a grand treasure on its shoulders. The chest contained over 800c!

Fallen in the OOB

I have now spent several thousands of coins on my wear. The shirt cost 2000c to dye! I am a victim of the heartless Fashion Police of Puddleby. I shall never be able to get back to simple clothing. Fortunately enough, I have found a reliable tailor. His name is Sha'faerdan'sar, and he is quick, reliable and very skilled. It makes me a bit more happy to spend the hundreds of coins each Zodiac on maintenance, when I know the work is performed by this good friend.
